His lead to many works involving algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and calculus. He also did works using tables of sines

Astronomy Contributions
His notable contributions to the world of science and mathematics includes the theory that the earth rotates on its axis, explanations of the solar and lunar eclipses, solving of quadratic equations, place value system with zero, and approximation of pie (π).

Contributions
Because of his works humanity now has a much better understanding of the universe. We know how to find circumferences and can understand our solar system and Galaxy.
