WHAT ARE ASH CLOUDS?

  • They're formed durning an eruption
  • They're made of pulverized rock
  • Have particles bigger then 2mm
  • Minerals and volcanic glass in ash clouds

WHAT DO THEY DO?

  • The force of the escaping gas shatters the magma.
  • It propels it into the atmosphere where it solidifies
  • Turns it into volcanic glass and rock

WHAT DO THEY DO TO THE HUMAN BODY?

  • When it enters the body it incinerated thousands from the heat
  • Ash clouds are immediate and lethal
  • So pretty much when it hits your body you start to die.

WHAT TO DO

  • Try to evacuate.
  • If unable to evacuate lock yourself in a building
  • Close all items and lock all doors
  • Put face mask on so you don't breath in ash
  • Wait for It to pass
