WHAT ARE ASH CLOUDS?

  • They are made up of pulverized rock.
  • There is also minerals and volcanic glass in ash clouds.
  • Includes particles bigger than 2mm.
  • Is formed during an eruption.

WHAT DO THEY DO?

  • The force of the escaping gas shatters the magma..
  • And propels into the atmosphere were it solidifies..
  • Into volcanic glass and rock

WHAT DO THEY DO TO THE HUMAN BODY?

  • When entered into the body it incinerated the lungs from the heat.
  • Ash clouds are immediate and lethal.
  • So basically when ash hits your body you start to die.

DO THIS

  • Try to evacuate first.
  • If unable to evacuate go into closed of building
  • Close all windows and lock all doors
  • Put a face mask on so you can not breath it in.
  • And wait for it to pass
