• Introduced into Southern fish farm to filter pounds
• Invaded Midsection of the U.S and the Great Lakes
• Once adapted to an ecosystem almost impossible to abandon

PROBLEMS

• The fish can fly out of the water up to 4ft high
• Boat engines irritate these fish causing injuries

PROBLEMS & SOLUTION

• Consume up to 20% of their body weight in plankton
• Can grow to over 100lbs
• Plankton are vital to native fish
• No natural predators in North America
• Provide suitable habitat for Asian Carp
