• Boys were sent to school
• They learned Math, reading, writing
• Had sporting competitions
• This system is better because we would be very well educated and would be able to get better jobs

Prosperous

• Had a seafaring society
• Good trade
• Nice well built city
• Most importantly more money

Sparta had a large well trained army

Sparta may have had a well trained army but Athens had its Navy which gives it the advantage of the sea
