Athletes Are Not Overpaid

No Description

PRESENTATION OUTLINE

Professional Athletes Are Not Overpaid

I think that professional athletes are not overpaid because of how much time they spend training and practicing for their sport.

They spend well over 40 hours a week training and practicing.

Professional athletes only have careers that last only 5 to 15 years. They need salaries that can carry them past that.

Some players will most likely get injured in their career. They may be career ending. Or life changing

LeBron James made $71 million last year. You may be thinking that's way to much money. But think how how much work he put into it. Practicing, playing games non-stop, and training.

Also it probably wasn't all from the NBA. A lot of it could be his shoes and clothing that lots of people buy.

Pro athletes deserve what they make because they are the best at what they do. The best doctors make way more money than other doctors. The best lawyers make way more than other lawyers.

We are the reason why athletes are getting so much money. We are the ones who go to their games. We are the ones who buy their merchandise. Their salaries are raised because of how many people are buying tickets and jerseys and other merchandise

There are 19,596 seats in the Golden State Warriors stadium. Imagine how much money is made just from how many people come to see them play

Athletes also put their career on the line every time they play or practice. One wrong move and it's all over

That's why I think athletes are not overpaid.
