GEOGRAPHY/LANDFORMS
Egypt was the first of many great African civilization.
In the West of African, the Kingdom of Ghana was a vast empire.
The kingdom of mall from the 13th to the 15th century.

GOVERNMENT
Africans played a direct role in the slave trade.
Captive slaves were considered "other" and not part of the tribe.
Some African kinds refused to sell any of their captives or criminals.

CULTURE
Took place across the Atlantic Ocean from the 16th centuries to the 19th.
Majority of those enslaved that were transported to the New World.
Historians estimates that more then 15 million Africans were forced to leave Africa.

1502- First reported African slaves in the New World.
1793- Waves of white refugees pour into United States Port fleeing insurrection in San Domingo
