A Costume Contest and a Costume Dance
brought the community together to showoff their creativity.

18 small businesses and local artists hosted tables of geeky items and art for sale and two food trucks were present as well.

9 Sponsors donated time, expertise, money, speakers, or goods to enhance the convention.

Results

• The webpage for the convention received over 1500 visitors throughout June and July.
• There were 2500 organic interactions on the library Facebook page during the weekend of the convention versus around 250 interactions the previous weekend.

There was a spike in Summer Reading Club signups over the weekend of the convention.

Attendance

• 2013 drew 150 attendees
• 2014 drew around 650 attendees
• 2015 drew 1300 attendees over a two day period
