2.
CELL PHONES
Texting is inappropriate during performances
Although silent, the bright light is very distracting
In general, you should just turn your phone off as a precaution.
3.
DON'T EAT DURNING PERFORMAMCE
If you do plan to eat during a performamce, unwrap candy before the show.
Eating during performances is usually rude except for during movies.
Eating not only makes a mess, but also can be distracting to other viewers.
4.
WAIT UNTIL INTERMISSION TO LEAVE
Leaving during the performance is impolite
If you have to use the bathroom wait until the intermission
Leaving can be loud and distracting for everyone
5.
DON'T TALK
Not talking during a performamce is the simplest rule
Wait until intermission to talk or if you have too talk whisper
Talking can and will distract everyone around you and is extremely rude
6.
DON'T FALL ASLEEP
How hard is it to not fall asleep during a performance?
Even if it is boring, just stay awake so you don't discourage actors
Falling asleep takes away from the show for everyone around you
7.
CONCLUSION
Following theatre rules are very easy
By following them, you make the show much more enjoyable
