PRESENTATION OUTLINE

AUSHWITZ AND THE HOLOCAUST

BY: SARAH WEEKS AND CAROLINE MAXIE

Our understanding of what happened in Auschwitz helps us because we know now that no one deserves to be put through pain and torture, regardless of religion or any other differences similar to that.

Many innocent people died for no reason and that opened our eyes and we realized that should never happen again.

It helps us in the future because it was such a big event and it was so tragic that it helps us to stop and think before we do something of that scale again.

It also teaches us not to take materialistic things for granted because during the holocaust people were only afraid for their life and not for their materialistic things

It helps us to be more sympathetic because we thought 'What if this happened to us' and it helps us not be as rude to people who are different then us, because we don't know what they've been through.
