Sibling to Hel and the Jormungand Serpent
Prophesied to bring about Ragnarok and an end to the gods
Dared only by the god of war Tyr to be fed and taken care of
Chained by a magic ribbon due to his immense size and fear from the gods

The chains of restraint will be broken and Ragnarok will begin
With mouth open, runs through the battlefield devouring both sun and moon
An ensuing battle between Fenrir and Odin begins
Wins and then devours the all-father Odin
Killed by the son of Odin, Vidar, in an act of revenge
