THE AIM OF RED CROSS

  • To reduce the amount of men, women and children living on the streets.
  • To help those in need of service regardless of age, colour, race or identity.

RED CROSS HISTORY

  • The original Red Cross organisation was created in 1859 by Henry Dunant
  • The organisation was introduced to australia in 1914 by by Lady Helen Munro
  • They changed the name to the Australian Red Cross Society on the 28th June 1941.
