HOW Is IT INHERITED?

  • Autism can be inherited by the parents
  • Can be a result of a spontaneous mutation of a gene
  • A environmental factor, (in the womb), could trigger the develpmnt.
  • Nope proven link between heredity and genetics and autism
  • 20% more chance for a second child to have autism then the 1st
