3.
LIFE FACTS:
His full name is Count Lorenzo Amedeo Carlo Avogadro
At the age of 20 he was awarded a doctorate in canon law
In 1803 he published his first scientific paper
At age 30 he started teaching highschool math and physics
In 1820 he became a professor at the university of Turin
4.
LIFE FACTS CONTINUED:
In 1811 Avogadro published a paper in Journal de Physique
In 1815 he published a paper about the masses of atoms, their compounds and their gas densities.
Between 1837-1841 he published four volumes looking in detail at the physics of matter
He was married with six sons

5.
THE GAS LAW:
published it when he was working as a physics teacher at the College of Vercelli-1811
equal volumes of all gases at the same temperature and pressure contain equal numbers of molecules
first scientist to realize that elements could exist as molecules rather than as individual atoms

HOW THIS GAS LAW IS USED:
Throwing an aerosol can in a fire
Inflating a basketball
Flat tire vs. Inflated tire
Lings as they expand with air
Helium balloon vs. Air balloon
