General Information

  • The Aztecs lived on Island Texcoco, but today it's called Mexico City.
  • The Aztecs were mostly farmers, even though they hunted and fished.

Housing

  • The Aztec's homes were made out of stone, but they were very small.
  • Their homes had a parent, grandparents, and children, so it was very crowded.

Foods

  • Once the Aztecs cook the duck or turkey,they can eat the meat.
  • They eat corn, peppers, squash, beans, chocolate, napales, and tunas, yet they also eat meat.
  • They also eat agave, amaranths, and, chiles.

  • Men wore short cloaks and women wore wrap around skirts.

  • The Aztecs spent a lot of time outdoors; although they went to bed at sunset.
  • Because the Aztecs have many enemies, they made many different types of weapons.
  • Since they made weapons, now the Aztecs can fight against enemies.
