Aztecs decline for 3 main reasons.
1 being sacrifices thousands to please gods.
2. A disease that went around them called the "Small Box" no one knew how to cure it so therefore many died because of the spread. 25% of the empire died because of this disease.
And last but not least the Spanish Conquest the most significant cause of there fall.

Aztecs believed in many gods and goddess. Such as Huitzilopochtli ( who Aztecs believed brought them success in war.) Quetzalcoatl (The god of knowledge.) and last but not least Tlaloc (Is the rain god who brought the Aztecs harvests.)

The Nobles had many privileges they were the government, military leaders, lords and priest.
The Commoners were the farmers and merchants who often travel to trade.
The Serfs usually worked for the Nobles or at least on there land. Although they could receive punishment
The slaves were slaves they were allowed to marry and have children although they weren't treated as high or good as the others.

Government
The Emperor ruled. They had wrote down laws and if you didn't follow the laws you were punished. There was no way to escape from the punishment you had to go to a priest to be forgiven. They were organized by the Empeor and nobles keeping there hands full of a over growing population.
