The Minnesota pollution control agency is working to develop ways to find and solve all pollution in the river. They hope to have solutions in a few years.

WHAT CAN THE COMMUNITY DO TO HELP
- Put in filters
- Dispose of water in different place
Filters will help clean the water before it gets into the river making the rivers cleaner

WHAT CAN YOU DO TO HELP
- Don't liter
- Pick up trash
- Don't rake leaves into the street
Any bacteria from trash gets into the river and causes more problems
If you don't rake your leaves for a while they will start to get bacteria like mold on them then raking them to the street gets the mold down storm drains and to the river
