  • Spirochete (corkscrew)
  • Vibrio (comma)

STREPTOCCAL

  • Causes pneumonia
  • S/S: chills, cough, fever
  • Treatment: antibiotics
  • Can be coccus/spherical, bacillus/rod, or spirllum/spiral

SALMONELLA

  • Type food poisoning
  • S/S: cramps, diarrhea, fever
  • Treatment: antibiotics, hospital if needed
  • Bacillus/rod shape

HELICOBACTER PYLORI

  • Causes gastritis
  • S/S: belly pain, nausea, vomiting
  • Treatment: antibiotics
  • Spirllum/spiral shaped
