WHAT IS IT?

  • Bacterial vaginosis is the inflammation of the vagina due to an overgrowth of bacteria

HOW TO GET BACTERIAL VAGINOSIS

  • Have multiple sexual partners
  • Douching
  • Having sex with multiple people
  • Cleaning vagina with soap
  • Using vaginal deodorant
  • Even if you're not sexually active, it's still possible to contract
  • Not using a condom

SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS

  • Abnormal discharge with odor
  • Fish like odor afersex
  • White milky, Gray or foamy discharge
  • Burning while urinating
  • Itching around outside of vagina
  • Sometimes no symptoms at all

TREATMENTS (NATURAL)

  • Acidophilus- common good bacteria
  • Apple cider vinegar
  • Stabilize blood sugar
  • Organic tampons

TREATMENTS (OTHER)

  • Antibiotic
  • Hydrogen peroxide
  • Boric acid (used as a mild disinfectant and in the manufacture of heat resistant glass and enamels)
