If we took the combined weight of our baking soda and vinegar before the experiment, that weight will equal the weight out the final products.

First we weighed the E. flask on an electric scale

Then we weighed our beaker

Thirdly, we weighed the empty balloon

After weighing everything, we put baking soda into das balloon

Lastly, we weighed the e flask with the vinegar

RESULTS

  • Before our reaction the total reactant weight was 7.01
  • After we were left with 6.18 due to wonky scales
  • Conclusion: our hypothesis was proven wrong due to bad experimenting
