What schools/districts its banned from
It is only banned from one school district in anchorage due to fowl language other wise it is just challenged repeatedly by parents and libraries but the whole goal of banned book month it's to show the freedom to read what you want.
Summary
Fourth graders George Beard and Harold Hutchins are best friends from Jerome Horowitz Elementary School. And pull numerous pranks, the two sell comic books on the school playground featuring superheroes they created The Amazing Captain Underpants George and Harold pull a series of practical jokes at the school's football game. They put pepper in the cheerleaders pom-poms causing them to have a short sneezing attack.
What I personally think
I personally read this book in elementary and this was my favorite book EVER I like the flip pages and funny comics at the time I don't think that it should be banned or even challenged but there is always that one person that has to rebel
