BARCELONA

• Barcelona is the capital city of catalonia
• Its population is a massive 1.6mill people
• The language they speak is spanish
• It is located in north east Spain

FOOD

• In Barcelona food is taken very seriously
• They have one of the healthiest diets in the world
• They eat cured meats and the local dish is Tapas
• Tapas is a meal made up of lots of small dishes, they are usually served with drinks at bar (soft drinks for kids obviously)
• It is usually made up rice, vegatables and seafood, sometimes Chicken also

WEATHER

• Weather in Barcelona can vary
• It can be hot one minute and pouring down with rain the next, Ive experienced this
• The temperature in Summer is around 30 degrees and around 5 degrees in Winter
• They have Mountain ranges in close by Andorra which can have different weather

BARCELONA CF

One of my favourite teams is Barcelona

• Barcelona FC has players such as Lionel Messi,
• Victor Valdes and my old favourite Luis Suarez
• They are top of La Liga at the moment

SCHOOL

• Spanish only have 3 terms
• They have 3 months off in the summer
• There school day starts at 9 and ends at 5
• They have a 2 hour break (Siesta) in the middle of the day as this is usually the hottest.
