THE IMPORTANT DISCOVERIES

• In 1488,Portuguese explorer Bartolomen Dias (c1450-1500) became the first European manner to round the southern tip of Africa,opening the war for a sea rout from Europe to Asia

• Yes because he found another rout of Africa
• It was helpful because they found a dangerous rout but since one survived they called it the (Path of hope)
