  • April 6th and 7th it was the 150th Anniversery
  • The Battle of Shiloh turned into the fiercest fighting the Civil war had seen yet
  • Each side thought night would bring victory
  • During the night Union boats ran up river to ferry fresh troops to Grants camp
  • On April 6th 1862 , Johnston surprised the Union forces near Shiloh Chruch
