Will the plant still germinate with vinegar instead of water?

Hypotheses:We thought the plants with vinegar would germinate.

Materials-6 cups of dirt,6 beans,vinegar,water,sun light,,graduated cylinder.

Methods:Our method was to keep the amount of water and vinegar the same in each of them and also how much dirt they each got,and the amount of sun they each got.

We put 45 ml. The first day and it got dry of over night so the next day we put 55 ml. In each and they were soaked ,sense then we have put 5 ml. In each of them.

RESULTS

• Day 1-5. We added vinegar, nothing happened.
• Day 6-7 Added nothing because we think the seeds are dead.
• Day 8-THEY ARE DEAD

Conclusion-We thought they would grow with vinegar, but the ended up dying.The ones with water we also though would grow but they died too.The reason they all died is because we drowned them because we have them to much water and vinegar.
