BLESSED ARE THE POOR IN SPIRIT

  • We believe that God has a special place in heaven for us. We should always help others and we should also let others help us. We should donate to the less fortunate and be kind to them because we never know how lucky we are until we aren’t.

BLESSED ARE THEY WHO MOURN

  • If someone is mourning another person God is always there for them. We should always be there for those who are going through a difficult loss because they will appreciate knowing that you care. When going through a hard time, we need someone to help us through this tough time.

BLESSED ARE THE MEEK

  • Meek means quiet and gentle. Some people have trouble being gentle with other people’s feelings. We should encourage others to be their true self. If someone is acting shy and nervous we could comfort and encourage them.

BLESSED ARE THEY WHO HUNGER AND THIRST FOR RIGHTEOUSNESS

  • God wants us to always help those in need. We should be thankful for everything that we have in life because others might not be as fortunate as us. We should always help those in need, no matter how small, they will be grateful. Some people can not even access water, when all we have to do is turn on a faucet with an unlimited supply. That shows how truly lucky we are.

Blessed are the merciful

  • Those who are truly sorry are trying to make peace with you . We should forgive people when they apologize to us for their mistake because if they had enough courage to own it then the least we can do is forgive them. If they really mean that they are sorry you will understand.

Blessed are the pure of heart

  • God trusts those who mean well and who trust in him. If someone is truly pure of heart you should trust them because something is driving them to do that. They will set examples and bring you closer to God.

Blessed are the peacemakers

  • The ones who make peace instead of an argument are true children of God. When someone is truly trying to make peace, something will change and you should trust and follow them. Those who make peace think of others before themselves.

Blessed are they who are persecuted for the sake of righteousness

  • Those who are persecuted for protecting their faith and what they believe in is unfair. We should always be proud of what we believe in because it is our choice. Many people have died for what they believe in and stand up for. We should be as willing and proud as they were because God will see that as a true act of sacrifice and loyalty, which will make him proud of us.
