BEBIONIC3

Task
This robot helps people with amputated limbs gain control and use a hand. This robot functions like a normal hand using 15 or more joints pick things up and put things down.

This robot simulates the operation of a human hand.

Where
The robot is used when it is attached to the human body in the place of the forearm and hand.

The BeBionic3 can tilt about 90 degrees at the wrist and has about 15 moving joints to simulated the fingers

Any Other Functions?
The robot serves as a hand and functions as a human hand.

The BeBionic3 is set up with its own program software to manage tasks wirelessly

Sensors
The technology is complicated, but its operation comes down to just two sensors placed on specific muscle groups. Using the hand properly takes hours of training and fine-tuning of its sensors, the sensors used could be touch sensors.

An advantage of using the BeBionic3 robotic hand would be that amputees without a hand are able to gain back control and are able to use a functioning hand again.

A disadvantage of using this device would be the price, the price of the robot is $25,000-$35,000, also the robot is very hard to control at times.

This robotic arm has impacted people by giving amputees back their arm/hand. This purpose was intended on being a positive one.

A type of job/career this robot can create are military jobs. Amputees from the military use these to return to former or new jobs.

Because this robot has an attachable and detachable hand, I predict that in the future this robot will have different attachable tools that can suit the need of anyone. For example, if you are a construction worker, you would be able to attach a hammer to use more efficiently.
