- India and her dad became more connected

At the end of the story Winn- Dixie got scared and hid. Everyone thought he ran away, but then they found him under the bed.
Gertruse's pets
Opal would listen to Otis sing and play his guitar while she watched the animals run loose and Winn-Dixie would howl.
