  • December 16, 1770– March 26, 1827
  • The day after he was born, he was baptized. A common thing in Germany
  • His mother and father were Jan and Maria
  • He had no job as a child
  • He had started out as a musician

  • Ludwig never went to school so he did not struggle or move to go
  • During his childhood, he traveled to Vienna in hopes to study with Mozart
  • Having learned that their mother was ill, they returned

  • When they go home, their mother had died.
  • By the time they got home they were devastated
  • Shortly after, his father fell to alcoholism.

  • Ludwig had been born in Germany
  • He did move and live elsewhere, but not out of Germany.
  • He had died in Austria
  • He had composed in both the classic and romantic eras

  • Ludwig had a sad and painful start to music, because he got beat by his alcoholic father into practicing music.
  • He had gotten his music training at his home
  • His first trainer was his dad, then he had more professional people train him

  • Ludwig was known for playing the piano, like in Für Elise, which means “For Elise”
  • He mostly composed operas, some solos, and some symphony’s
  • When it comes to style, he mostly plays for solo piano. Some orchestra too.

  • His grandpa had become Kapellmeister in 1761
  • He was married in Bonn
  • He had become very poor at the age of 18
  • His grandpa died in 1773
  • He had no actual recorded day of birth. They just said “Why not December 16?” “Sounds good to us people.”
