Never talk to someone online you have never talked to in real life over the internet. They could be someone wanting to harm you or get things out of you.

Never give out too much information online. Leave things like your phone number, address, school, etc offline. Predators online could find it and use all of your personal information against you.

What you post on line can effect you either in a positive or negative way. If you're cautious about what you post online it can help you out. But if you give away everything online it could cause coaches, schools, clubs, etc to decline you. Or just effect you negatively.

Pay attention to the people who want to contact you. Never accept someone's follow or friendship request if you don't know them. Make sure it's actually them before accepting it.

Never bully online. It can be saved and shared. What you say can really effect someone and make them Extremely upset. If you see someone online that you know being bullied, report it.

If you're being bullied online do not just stand by and take it. Don't reply to that person, quickly block them and report it to am adult as soon as possible. That person can get in serious trouble and face extreme punishment.

Remember; if you are being talked to online by a stranger and bad things quickly happen, it's not you're fault. Don't sweat it! You aren't at fault here.

Always be smart about what you post. Don't post things you would be ashamed about in a few years. Just remember to always be internet safe and smart!
