What is the Bengal tiger?

The Bengal tiger is a endangered tiger that lives in the grasslands and rainforests of India. The Bengal tiger usually lives in warmer areas of India.
The Bengal tiger also know as the Panthera Tigris.

What does the Bengal tiger look like?

The Bengal tiger has a long tail, sharp teeth and paws claws, and legs. All these items help with something, like the tail that helps it keep it's balance or the teeth help it catch it's prey.

The Bengal tiger can eat up to 40kg at one time, but at zoos they are only given 5-6kg per day

  • Human conflicts, man kill more Bengal tigers.
  • Illegal trade, poaching for Medicean is the biggest problem.
  • Habitat loss, they require lots of space to roam.
  • Prey loss, when man kills it's prey, they die.

How is the Bengal tiger being protected?
One way the Bengal tiger is being protected is, WORLD WILDLIFE FUND is stoping poaching in 12 different landscape, protecting it's habitats, and STOPING ILLEGAL TRADE!!!

What I think should happen to save the Bengal tiger is...
I think that laws should be made and/or enforced because it is a top predator and it keeps it's ecosystem from over-populating.
