  • Benefits- less duplication of services
  • less conflicts between national and local governments.
  • More stable and working together.
  • Drawbacks- government does not help local concerns.
  • Slow with fixing local problems.

FEDERAL GOVERNMENT

  • Benefits- handle local problems.
  • Citizen participation has more opportunists for decision making.
  • Drawbacks- service duplications
  • Some states may pass laws that counter national policy.
  • Disputesoverpower/national supremacy versus state’srights

CONFEDERATION

  • Benefits- local levels has power.
  • Makes the central government smaller.
  • States can work together but also has their own laws.
  • Drawbacks- weak central government.
  • Lack working together.

TOTALITARIANISM

  • Benifits- has the power to change laws to make the country better.
  • Can settle problems between political parties.
  • Drawbacks- doesn't allow people to have their own freedoms, politcal party, or even religion.
  • Very controlling with communication.
  • People aren't allowed to have their won options or thoughts.

TRADITIONAL ECONOMY

  • Benefits- everyone is employed in some activity
  • Member are close-knit and support each other.
  • Drawbacks- some members may not like the role they have for their activity.
  • Its resistant to change.
  • Their standards of living are lower.

COMMAND ECONOMY

  • Benefits- they can move economic resources quickly.
  • They can prevent power abuse.
  • It helps carry out plans.
  • Drawbacks- they don't know how to meet the needs of the people.
  • Issues creating exports that are needed globally.
