BENITO MUSSOLINI WAS BORN ON JULY 29TH, 1883 IN PREDAPPIO, ITALY

SCHOOL

  • He went to school in Faenza, Italy
  • He was expelled from that school by stabbing a classmate in the hand
  • But he did better at his next school and went on to become a qualified teacher.

BECOMING DICTATOR

  • By 1922, Italy slipped into a political chaos and Benito declared that only he could restore order, and he was given power.
  • Mussolini became prime minister in that same year (1922).
  • He then began to become dictator of Italy.
  • He is known for being the fascist dictator of Italy.

TOWARD THE END...

  • He used the military to control/rule as dictator.
  • And if you had a problem with his rules and regulations, his military killed you
  • In 1945, Mussolini died in Europe of the final days of WW2
