  • Benjamin Franklin was born February 17, 1706. He was the tenth out of seventeen.
  • He died in April 17, 1790 in Philadelphia, PA
  • He only attended one year of school.
  • His father sent him off to apprentice to his older brother at a printing shop.

  • After his wife died in 1774 he became the French ambassador.
  • Founding Father- One of five men who helped write the Declaration of Independence
  • one of the founders of the Pennsylvania Hospital in 1751.

  • His wife was Deborah Read
  • Benjamin Franklin is also on $100 dollar bill
