CHILDHOOD
Benoit was born in warsaw, polland on november 20, 1924
He was raised there too and also lived in france
Benoit's father traded clothing and his mom was a dental surgeon
His uncle Szolem Mandelbrot introduced benoit to mathmatics
He had two sons Didier and Laurent Mandelbrot with his wife Aliette Kagan

EDUCATION
In Benoits younger years he went to an average school in Polland
When he was older he liked to travel he attended many universities in US and Polland and a masters degree in Aeronautics from Caltech
Contributed one of the biggest mathmatical discoveries ever
His gift atracted attention everywhere in college
Eventually became a professor for yale university

ACCOMPLISHMENT
Most interesting thing benoit has done is proboly discovering fractals
Fractals are geometry of nature
It is trying to define the shape and degree of things like coast lines, mountains, and clouds
He was also one of the first people to work with computer graphics
