When was the camp Opened?
Bergen-Belsen was established on April 15,1940
It was made by German Military Authorities
Until 1943, It was a Prisoner Of War (POW) camp

Where was it located?
It was located south of the towns of Bergen and Belsen
Located in Northern Germany
Located 11 miles north of Celle, Germany

How many Prisoners?
There was about 120,000 prisoners
It was only supposed to hold 10,000 prisoners
Mainly created to hold Jewish prisoners
Two out of the eight sections were for girls

How many people died?
95,000 people died
Over 60,000 people died of just Incineration
Among the people that died, Anne Frank was the most famous
