• Area is bonded by Miami, Bermuda, and Puerto Rico, 500,000 sq. feet
• Columbus wrote about the bizarre compass bearings in the area
• Deepest underwater trenches in the world
• The sea floor is 19,000 feet under
• The Gulf Stream is like a 40-50 mile wide river within the North Atlantic Ocean

• Bermuda was once known as the "Isle of Devils"
• 75 aircraft and 100's of yachts in the last 25 years were never found
• More than 1,000 lives have been lost
• No evidence, no bodies, no wreckage

FLIGHT 19

• December 5, 1945: Happened 58 years ago
• Flight 19 left their base in Florida for a routine mission
• They were never seen again with no evidence
• Pilots in 1945, relied on compasses to know their direction and distance
• When tested both compasses were not working during the flight, over the triangle

FLIGHT 19

• The planes,"Iron Birds", were built very much like tanks
• As soon as the fuel went below 10 gallons, all 5 planes were ditched
• A land and sea search were formed but never found bodies or the wreck
• The disappearance of flight 19 was blamed on pilot error
• One of the rescue planes also disappeared

USS CYCLOPS

• Happened February 1918
• 306 crew members and passengers were on board
• There was no trace of the ship
• They think underwater earthquakes/landslides cause the shipwrecks
• The gas from earthquakes/landslides, lower the density of water

DOUGLAS DC-3 FLIGHT

• Planned to arrive in Miami, from San Juan
• 32 people were on board
• Pilot radioed Miami once they were 50 miles away, preparing to land
• Miami radioed back but got no response
• The plane nor bodies were found

PLANE MALFUNCTIONS

• Malfunctions happen suddenly when over the Bermuda Triangle
• Plane could've had electrical difficulties and battery needed a recharge to communicate
• The wind direction could've changed, pushing the plane off course
• Gas can also affect the lift of the plane, causing it to go to low altitudes
• Compasses slowly start rotating counterclockwise by itself, over the area

THEORIES/MYTHS ON DISAPPEARANCES

• Articles, books, and movies appeared suggesting multiple theories
• They think it could be enormous sea monsters, giant squid, or extra terrestrials
• Some others think it may be a death ray from Atlantis
• UFOs and the US Force working together are another theory
• No one knows for sure the reasons behind the disappearances

• There are swift currents
• Many landscapes are composed of a lot of similar looking islands and areas
• It can be easy to loose ones way through the air
• Compasses may of not been working causing the pilot to get off track

• A compass points true north as opposed to the magnetic north

• A scuba diver claimed to have seen: "A mirrored pyramid of some type", deep under the Atlantic
• The Bimini Road is a rock formation found in the Bermuda Triangle
• It has seemingly sculpted towers of rock, with no explanation
• Some think Atlantis sent a death ray from below the waters

• Bruce Gernon and his father were flying near the triangle
• They came across a strange cloud that grew exponentially
• It then morphed into a tunnel
• Another witness claims he saw the vortex as "fabric of time" and that it was a tunnel full of lines

• METHANE HYDRATES
• Deep beneath the surface lie pockets of methane gas
• This gas could've been released and bubbled to the surface
• When it's at the surface it reduces the density of water
• A ship could loose buoyancy making it sink

• 11,000 YEAR OLD COMET
• A comet may or may not have crashed to Earth and landed deep
• in the Bermuda Triangle itself
• They think the comet could have strange electromagnetic properties that
• could interfere with an aircraft engine

• The water currents could've carried the ruins to other
• places, making it more difficult to find a wreck
• The deep waters could've swallowed up a ship/plane wreck
• causing it to disappear quickly
