The Indus River
Water Levels
The Indus River begins in the Himalaya Mountains. It gets water from melting snow from the Hindu Kush mountains and other mountain ranges. The melting snow and ice from the mountains keep the river's water level high. Eventually, the river flows through what is now the country of Pakistan and empties into the Arabian Sea.
If we live there, even in the hottest days we will have water due to the melting snow from the mountain ranges. The water's level will be high!

Farmland
The Indus River valley contains some of the best farmland in the world. Like the Ganges, the Indus River valley contains some of the best farmland in the world. The Indus River carries sediment form the mountains to the plains. The sediment leaves the surrounding soil rich and fertile.
If we live there we will be able to farm our natural resources because the soil is fertile due to the sediment carried by the Hindus River.

Temperature
Temperatures in the Indus River valley range from 65F to 90F.
This is a very good temperature. It is not so hot but it is not so cold. It is warm and most of the time sunny, so we can farm and the soil will receive enough nutrients.
