ITS NOT JUST ABOUT THE FOOD.......

The Cafe is for everyone!

A COMMUNITY RESOURCE

For local people to meet and get advice

The Hall is on the 48 Bus Route and there is a carpark and on street parking for drivers. It is next door to the Holy Nativity Community Centre, on the corner of Norwich Drive and Heath Hill Avenue (opposite the school).
It is open to residents of Lower and Higher Bevendean, Moulsecoomb and Meadowview up to and including Bear Road.

MISSION STATEMENT

  • • to offer a safe and welcoming meeting place for local people • to support local residents by providing access to a food bank for those who are struggling financially • to provide access and sign posting to advisory services for financial inclusion and health promotion • To support people to move on from being in crisis and to find new ways of managing their money and budgeting

Bevendean Food Bank operates a Referral System. To receive food a person needs a completed referral form from an appropriate agency who will calculate eligibility. Referrals may receive food for up to six weeks.

Bevendean is isolated with few amenities and the Community Coffee Morning offers a cheap and friendly place to meet for coffee and company
