The Real Name is the Clock Tower

Big Ben is just a nickname

First Chimed on May 31, 1859

It chimes every 15 minutes and can be heard from up to 5 miles away

The clock is adjusted with a penny.

If it's fast, they add a penny to the pendulum. If it's slow one is removed

The original bell broke

the first day it was used!
