LOVE ACT OF 2017

The Lavender Offense Victim Exoneration Act of 2017, is called the LOVE Act for short

This bill calls for investigation in government terminations that took place in the 1950s and 1960s. An investigation could yield evidence to support the theory that these individuals were terminated due to their sexual orientation.

It also calls for measures to be taken in current day to eliminate LGBTQ discrimination.

I am against this bill due to the fact that taxpayer dollars would be spent to investigate something that may or may not have happened in the 1950s and 1960s
