WHAT MY SLOGANS AIM TO ACHIEVE

  • My slogans "stop the binge, stop the whinge!" & "Bingeing is Bad!!!" Refers to binge drinking, its meaning is to stop binge drinking and if you don't you will have to suffer the consequences that binge drinking brings. Binge drinking is very harmful and very bad for you and for others and it is not a safe thing to do.

FATAL 18TH BIRTHDAY BINGE

  • Nicole Emily Bicknell was celebrating with friends at a barbecue at her mother's house on November 1, 2014, and aimed to have a drink for every year of her life. After drinking vodka pineapple cruisers and shots of vodka and mango, Ms Bicknell then went on to play a drinking game in which she consumed Midori straight from the bottle.

FATAL 18TH BIRTHDAY BINGE CONTINUED

  • She then began drinking from a bottle of high-strength liquor called Polmos Spirytus Rektyfikowany — a rectified spirit from Poland which has an alcohol content of 95 per cent. Ms Bicknell became incoherent after consuming the Polish spirit, which the revellers started drinking after other alcohol ran out.

FATAL 18TH BIRTHDAY BINGE CONTINUED

  • When it became clear she was drunk, she was put to bed in the recovery position and monitored by her boyfriend Jason Roberts for several hours, but he eventually fell asleep himself. But when Mr Roberts woke the next morning, he found she was blue and was not breathing.

CONSEQUENCES OF MISUSE

  • The consequence of this article is that the 18 year old girl faced a horrible death. It was not only horrible but it could have been preventable and was very unnecessary. She had consumed way to much alcohol and alcohol that was way to strong. For a young person it was way too much.

EFFECTS OF BINGE DRINKING
