Biofeedback: a science based method that uses monitoring instruments to measure and feedback information about physiological parameters of the body that out of conscious control: Terms associated with therapeutic biofeedback also viewed as a mind-body therapy method used alternative medicine. Biofeedback is an important part of understanding the relationship between physical state and thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.
