Weather Dry desert are formed by high-pressure zones in which cold air descends. The heat evaporates the rain before it falls. Plants have adapted to lack water by using dew. The annual temperature of sand is 64 degrees.
Patterns Desert get about 1 inch of rain a year.there is not a lot of atmosphere to protect you from the radiation. In most desert it is very hot during the day and at night but in some desert it's very hot during the day and very cold during the nights.

Dangers There are some people that die every year from tours because the tour leader does not have much experience so make sure you have a guide that knows the area and is experienced.
Seasons During the dry season the salt lake is normal and looks like a desert, but during the wet season the near by lake over fills and floods the salt lake, making it the largest mirror in the world.
Best time to visit It snows there for a couple of months during July and August. The safest time to travel is April to May. The months to see the lake turn into a mirror is September to November.
