I hear a car zooming past me very fast, i hear him hit the breaks and a few seconds later a loud crash. I inferred that the car hit something.

Experimental group-the group inn an experiment that recieves the variable being tested

>Independent variables : that is changed or controlled by the experiment(x-axis)
>Dependent variables : the variable that changes as a result of the dependent variable(y-axis)
>Constant : control variables--things that are the same.
