Hypothesis:
testable explanation of a situation.
Serendipity:
occurrence of accidental or unexpected but fortunate results.
Control group:
the group in the experiment that does not change in any way.
Experimental group:
the group that gets the variable being tested.
Independent variable:
The variable that is changed or controlled by the experiment (x-axis).
Dependent variable:
the variable that changed as a result of the independent variable(y-axis).
Constant:
control variable- - - things that are the same.
Characteristics of life:
the eight things that living things have.
Asexual reproduction :
produces clones and does not require gametes
Homeostasis:
regulation of an organism's internal conditions to maintain life.
