TROPICAL FOREST

  • The forest contains really tall trees and up to 50 to 260 rain per year
  • The tempeture rarely gets over 93 degree and rarely drops below 68 degrees
  • The most common animals that lives here is monkey,brightly colored butterflies and any type of mammal or bird
  • Rainforest like these usually can be found in Africa or Central Asia

TUNDRA

  • The tundra is the worlds YOUNGEST biome is was formed over 10000 years ago.
  • The average tempeture in the tundra is usually -70 degrees In the winter and in the summer the tempeture is usually 54 degrees
  • The tundra is a treeless land which covers over 20% of the earth. It is usually super cold and is very stark.
  • There is barely any vegetation in the tundra. There is mostly shrubs,mosses,lichens and grasses
  • The tundra there are many different types of species like wolves,polar bears,wolverines, and arctic foxes.

TAIGA BIOME

  • The taiga is a needle leaf forest. Living in the taiga is cold and lonely.coldness and food shortages make things very difficult mainly in the winter.
  • In the winter the tempeture is around 30 to -65 degrees in the winter with lots of snow. In the summer is usually aroun 20 to 70 degrees.
  • The spring and autumns are really short.
  • There are not a lot of species in the taiga biome because of the harsh conditions with the cold in the winter.
  • But there are some animals that live there like the wolverines, bobcats, minks and ermine.

DECIDOUS FOREST

  • The deciduous forest can be found in the eastern half of North America and the middle of europe
  • The word deciduous means falling off or out of the certain season.
  • The average tempeture in the forest is about 50 degrees and gets about 30 to 60 inches of rainfall per year.
  • In order for the animals to adapt they have to hibernate through out the winter and living off the land in the other three seasons.
  • There many different types of animals in the forest like deer, gray squirrels, mice raccoons, salamanders, snakes, robins, frogs and many types of insects.

RAINFOREST

  • The rainforest is made up of tall trees and year round warmth
  • The rain forest gets an average rain fall of 50 to 260 inches a year.
  • The tempeture is about from 66 to 93 degrees.
  • The animals there are brightly colored butterflies, Mosquitos, and stick bugs.
  • The animals adapt by getting the water that falls and usually hunt for food.

GRASSLAND

  • Grasslands are large rolling terrains of grass flowers and shrubs.
  • The grass can cause fires because the grow from the bottom instead of the top.
  • The precipitation is so bad that the fires and droughts actually don't let large forest to grow.
  • Here are tons of animals that live here like birds prairie dogs and other animals.
  • In the winter the tempeture is -40 and in the summer is about 70 degrees.

DESERT

  • The desert is a hot and dry biome that has lots of droughts and have really hot tempetures the desert rarely has any plants.
  • The deserts tempeture gets close to about 113 degrees.
  • The vegetation in hot and dry deserts are very rare. The plants are really ground hugging shrubs.
  • Some animals in the dessert are like borrowers, morning wheatears, and horned vipers.

MOUNTAINS AND ICE

  • The alpine lies right below the snow line of a mountain. The alpine biome has really cold weathers
  • The tempeture ranges to about 10 to 15 degrees in the summer and in the winter it's below freezing.
  • The plants protect themselves by the cold wind by hugging the ground. The animals hibernate or migrat to lower warmer areas.
  • Some animals that live here are like goat,sheep,and rams.

FRESHWATER

  • The freshwater biomes is made up of ponds and lakes. This biome my consist of lots of animals.
  • Some animals would be turtles,snakes,ducks, and fish.
  • Some ways the animals adapt is flying south or hibernating or migrating.
  • The tempeture for freshwater ranges to about 4 degrees to 22 degrees Celsius.

MARINE BIOME

  • The marine biome is the largest biome in the world.there four main oceans they are the Atlantic pacific indian and article ocean
  • Some animals that would live here are fish, whales,bacteria fungi and lots more animals.
  • The way the animals adapt would be learn how to hunt and swim to survive in the marine biome.
  • The tempetures in the marine biome ranges to about 39 degrees.
