TAIGA
The taiga biome is very cold during the winter.
For half of the year this biome is below freezing. Also very mountainous.
The taiga doesn't have very many animals. But it has a lot of insects.
It extends across Europe, North America, and Asia. It is a forest habitat.
Near the top of the world below the tundra. Lots of trees and grass grow.

Rain forests are very humid. They are very hot but never get too cold.
It is flat land with a lot of trees and life.
Trees grow very tall to get to the sun.
Frogs,monkeys,insects, and more flourish in the rain forests.

Hot desserts are extremely hot and a maximum temperature I'd 49*c.
Cold deserts get to 4*c.
Desserts are usually flat
Cacti live in hot desserts and store the water it gets in its middle.

Grasslands contain more than 80 species of animals,and hundreds of species of plants.
Tall-grass, which are humid and very wet.
Short-grass, which are dry.
Grasslands are mostly flat with small ponds.

Very windy and snowy with lakes and marshes all over also mountainous.
Mosses,lichens,and grasses flourish here.
Bear,deer,hares,and some other 45 spicies of mammals live in the tundra.

The average rainfall is 30 to 60 inches a year.
Trees up to 100 feet tall live in this biome.

Freshwater is cold or hot depending on the season

It is hard to live in this biome.
