WHAT ECOSYSTEM/BIOME IS YOUR BIOSPHERE LOCATED?

A RAINFOREST
What ecosystem/biome is your biosphere located?

Rainforest

  • What are different energy sources that you will be using?Fossil fuels?Alternative energy?Name them and how you are going to use them.
  • Solar energy-sun for plants and animals
  • Wind energy-carbon oxygen cycle
  • Biofuels-the interaction between animals

Within your biosphere,
how do organisms live,survive,
and interact with elements in their environment?

Organisms eat, hunt, and stay in groups. In each species, they will protect each other from other species that try to eat them.

What is metamorphosis(complete and incomplete)? What are the differences and what are some examples of both?

What is metamorphosis(complete and incomplete)? What Are the different and what are some examples of both?

Metamorphosis-simple life cycles(3or4 stages)
Differences:
Incomplete:egg-nymph-adult- egg- nymph- adult
Complete:egg-larva-pupa-adult-egg-larva-pupa-adult
Examples:
Complete:butterfly,ladybug,ant,and bee
Incomplete:head lice,grasshopper,and cicada

  • What is the difference between an inherited trait and learned behavior?
  • Inherited traits-something you are born with
  • Learned behavior-something you learn
What is the difference between an inherited trait and learned behavior?

How do structures and functions of organisms help them survive and thrive in their environment

The organisms help other organisms survive by letting them eat the other organisms.Without this process 1 organism will over populate and the other won't have enough food to eat.

How have humans affected ecosystems? What are the positive and negative effects of these changes made by humans?

Humans chop down ecosystems.
Positive:more houses, more wood ,more cultural living
Negative:animals have to find new homes, not enough resources for animals,
less supplies can be made

What is the main source of energy for all organisms? How is this energy transferred between organisms and how is it represented on a food chain or food web?

Sun
The grass takes suns energy then the next animal in the food chain/web takes the energy from the sun and so on.

What happens in a food chain/web if an organism is removed?

When organism a is removed a producer or consumer over populates because they don't have as many predators. A consumer won't have enough to eat.
