JOB DESCRIPTIONS

FOOD AND BEVERAGE DIRECTOR

• Responsible for the hotel’s catering business facilities, catering food production and catering services.
• Make annual and monthly business plan.
• Establish stringent standards and operating procedures.

ASSISTANT FOOD AND BEVERAGE DIRECTOR

• Assistant Food & Beverage Director assists the Director in operations related to food and beverages service quality.

RESTAURANT MANAGER

• Taste and smell food to ensure satisfaction and taste.
• Supervise food preparation, portion sizes, side dishes and food placement to ensure costumer acceptance.
• Plan employees’ working hours and assignments.

HEAD WAITER

• Assist manager in front office operation.
• Assist manager to deal with all emergencies in the store.
• Supervise staff to prepare meal, serve meal and finish the meal.

WAITER/WAITRESS

• Is responsible for managing the junior and assistant waiters, as well as taking feedbacks from passengers on the food quality and services.

BARTENDER

• Preparing alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages for customers.
• Interacting with customers, taking orders and serving snacks or drinks.
• Assessing bar customers’ needs and preferences and making recommendations.

STEWARD

• Responsible for general duties within the restaurant.
• Helps with cleaning and restocking tasks to keep all kitchen and dining areas sanitary and to ensure all the supplies for customers and restaurant staff are available when needed.

FOOD AND BEVERAGE DIRECTOR

• This position demands a previous 6 years of experience in F&B department in addition to 3 years in a management position. Fluency in English language is a must for this position.

ASSISTANT FOOD AND BEVERAGE DIRECTOR

• Prior 6 years of experience in F&B department in addition to 3 years in a management position is required. Fluency in English language is a must for this position.

HEAD WAITER

• Prior experience in a restaurant is required for this position. Fluency in English language is a must.

WAITER/WAITRESS

• Prior experience in a restaurant is required for this position. Fluency in English language is a must. This position has a possibility for promotion to the Head Waiter.

BARTENDER

• Prior experience in a bar/restaurant/hotel along with fluency in English language is required for this position.

STEWARD/STEWARDESS

• No prior experience is required for this position, however fluency in English language is a must.

DAILY DUTIES
